DMCA Policy

NaraNook respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). Our policy is as follows:

  1. We may remove or disable access to content we believe infringes copyrighted works.

  2. We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

All use of our Services is subject to our Terms of Service, which include this Copyright Policy.


Filing a DMCA Notice

To report copyright infringement, please send a written notice to our Designated Agent with:

  • An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner (or authorized representative).

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

  • Specific identification of the allegedly infringing content, with enough detail to locate it.

  • A statement affirming that you believe, in good faith, that the use of this material is unauthorized.

  • Your contact details: name, mailing address, phone number, and email (if available).

  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, confirming the accuracy of your notice and your authority to act.


Our Response to Valid Notices

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we may:

  • Remove or block access to the identified content.

  • Notify the content provider of the removal or disabling.

  • Terminate Services for repeated violations.


Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you believe that removed or disabled content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the removed material and its prior location.

  • A statement of good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.

  • Your full name, address, phone number, and email (if available).

  • A statement consenting to federal court jurisdiction in your district (or where NaraNook is located if outside the U.S.) and willingness to accept service from the original complainant.

If valid, we may provide a copy to the complainant. Unless the copyright owner initiates legal action, the content may be restored within 10–14 business days.
